The Plan
At the heart of the Levinson Leadership Institute lies a simple belief: leadership is learned by doing. Through its three pillars—Service, Education, and Travel (S.E.T.)—LLI offers immersive programs that build confidence, empathy, and lifelong skills for students of all abilities.
Students begin their journey through local service projects, participate in online leadership modules, and culminate their experience with international travel that turns lessons into living experiences.
LLI’s programs are inclusive, experiential, and deeply personal—designed to cultivate humility, teamwork, and vision in every student.

Global Travel Program | “Leaders in Flight”
-
Nothing transforms a young leader like seeing the world through new eyes.
The Levinson Leadership Institute’s Global Travel Program offers students the opportunity to explore history, culture, and service beyond the classroom walls—culminating in the Founding Trip: England–Paris–Rome, Summer 2026, in partnership with EF Tours.
This experience connects students with international communities and historical sites that have shaped global leadership. From the steps of the Colosseum to the halls of Westminster Abbey, students discover that leadership knows no borders.
The trip emphasizes inclusion and accessibility, ensuring that all students—including those with disabilities—can fully participate and thrive.
Program Highlights:
Guided EF Tours with professional educators.
Cultural exchange activities and service-learning days.
Pre- and post-travel leadership reflection assignments.
Opportunity for college credit and resume building.
-
The Levinson Leadership Institute is founded on inclusion. Brian Levinson’s two decades in special education inspired the creation of a nonprofit that ensures students with disabilities are not just included—but empowered.
“Students with disabilities who engage in structured experiential learning show measurable gains in independence, self-advocacy, and community integration.” – U.S. Department of Education, 2023
Research shows that students who participate in experiential learning and travel programs demonstrate improved communication skills, higher confidence, and greater college readiness. For students with unique learning needs, these experiences can be transformational.
